TEACHERS: Using the Course Reports

There are four different reports that you can use to see who is actively using your course, and general course usage trends.

The Reports menu in the Administration block

Logs: A running, timestamped  list of who has logged in to your course and what they viewed while inside the course.

Activity report: View a list of resources and activities and see which ones are getting viewed, and how recently they were viewed.Read the rest of this topic

TEACHERS: Using the Choice Activity

The Choice activity is a simple one multiple choice question or poll. A Choice activity could be used to survey student’s prior knowledge, interest, opinion, study habits, technology access at home, etc. You can also use the Choice activity to provide students with a choice in selecting a topic, group, project, or activity, and you can limit the number of students who are able to select each choice.Read the rest of this topic

TEACHERS: Use the Aiken format to create Moodle quiz questions

If you would like to use Moodle for a simple true-false or multiple choice quiz, review, or self-check, the Aiken format is a quick way to write your assessment items. (Other questions types are available in Moodle, but not using the Aiken format.)
